Driving a runaway hearse...
Looks like we've been neglecting this here webzone for a while but after a year of touring all over this great(?) country, and a few other countries as well, we're back to update with some exciting news. We've got a brand new split LP with our amazing west coast friends Toys That Kill which you can pick up from Dead Broke Rekerds or Recess Records or you can stream or download from your favorite online services. We've also got some new Merch available including a limited edition "They Live" themed t-shirt and super punk back patch, plus a load of other new designs just in time for the holidays.
You Can't Stay Here
It's been a hard few years but we fought our way through and are proud to announce that our third full length record "You Can't Stay Here" will be dropping on Side One Dummy Records Friday October 13th. You can check out the video for the song "My best Friend (Is A Nihilist)" and Pre order the record HERE or at the link in the menu above. We've also got some rad tours coming up with Propagandhi, The Movie Life and Off With Thier Heads. Check out the Shows page for more info
The McAllister Family Memorial Fund
Please help. The McAllister Family Memorial Fund aims to provide long-term support to the loved ones Robert McAllister (Iron Chic/Capital) left behind when he passed away on January 9, 2016. While other crowdsourcing pages have been established to provide immediate relief for Rob’s family in the aftermath of his passing, the McAllister Family Memorial Fund will serve as an ongoing resource to help Marisa, Rob’s partner, and Ramona, Rob’s daughter, in the weeks, months, and years to come.
every town has an elm street...
...and we're going to find them all and take stupid picures under the street signs on our 7 week U.S. tour. After a short break we'll be back out on the road again to Europe and the UK because we dislike being comfortable and sleeping in regular beds. Check out the dates in the shows section to see if we're coming to your town and if we're not it's on purpose just to make you feel bad, yes you specifically.
New record and other shit
The wait is almost over. Our new record "The Constant One" drops November 5th on Bridge Nine Records and we think you're either gonna love it or have some unreasonable critism about it.
everything's coming up chic
Lots of crazy shit happening for your old pals Iron Chic. We lost our van, gained a record label and released our new ep "Spooky Action" as a pay-what-you-want download for a limited time on bandcamp. On top of all that we're starting out European tour with stops at Groezerock and Pirate Satellite Festival. We'll most likely be doing alot of this.
Seems like a good time for some news
Hey, we've been waiting for the perfect oppurtunity to see Ghost rider: Spirit of vengence in the theater, together as a band, but in the meantime some cool shit is happening all around us. We've got some cool shows coming up with with fucking Hot Water Music, Plow United, and Grey Area among others. In-between all that stuff we're writing a new record in Phil Douglas' futuristic studio while he wears robot headphones like Dr. Dre.
Also, we're all sold out of shirts for the time being and we should be re-stocking pretty soon, but they are now available at Interpunk.com as well.
